Work with us
Mikupay serves business clients only. Accounts are opened by an account manager on an invitation basis, after verification. This page explains who to contact, what happens next, and what to include so the first reply is useful.
One business day
Standard turnaround for enquiries and operational questions on business days.
Business clients only
We do not open personal accounts, and there is no public self-signup.
Written channels
Email and the client portal, so requests and replies stay on the record.
Documents go to compliance
Identity and business documents are reviewed by the compliance team, not support.
How to reach the right team
Three routes, three different queues. Choosing the right one is the fastest way to get a substantive reply.
Opening an account
Businesses that are not yet clients
- Use this route if you want to discuss whether your business fits what the platform can do.
- Tell us the currency and volumes you expect, so the first reply can be specific.
- We answer within one business day on business days.
There is no public self-signup. Accounts are opened by an account manager on an invitation basis after review.
Account-specific queries
Businesses already onboarded
- Start with your account manager: they have the context on your onboarding file and your commercial terms.
- For anything operational that your account manager cannot pick up, email support so the request is logged and routed.
- Same-day acknowledgement on business days; anything that needs a bank trace takes longer.
Statements, ledger entries and card applications are in the client portal, so most operational questions are answered there without a waiting period.
Verification, regulatory and documentation
Compliance, legal and finance teams
- Send identity and business documents here, and nowhere else.
- Ask here for counterparty due diligence, source-of-funds questions and periodic review requests.
- Documentation requests are reviewed by the compliance team, so allow more than a day for a substantive answer.
Do not send personal data or documents to the general support address; it does not route to the team that reviews them.
The three routes exist because they are handled by different people with different information to hand. An account manager can discuss commercial terms but does not review documents; the compliance team reviews documents but does not quote prices. Sending a request to the address that owns it is what keeps the answer to one business day instead of two or three.
Include the same detail whichever route you use: the entity, the jurisdiction, and the specific question. A request that names the entity it concerns can be answered; one that does not has to be sent back before anything else can happen.
Opening an account, stage by stage
Five stages, in order. Each one has to be complete before the next begins, which is what keeps the process predictable.
- 1
Initial discussion
A short conversation about how your business moves money today: who pays you, in what currency, where the funds need to end up, and why a USD receiving account with USDT settlement is the right fit. We confirm what the platform does and, just as importantly, what it does not do.
- 2
Onboarding and verification
You complete the onboarding pack and provide documentary evidence of identity and of the business: incorporation documents, ownership and control information, and a description of the activity you expect on the account. The compliance team reviews the file under our AML programme, which includes client due diligence and enhanced due diligence for higher-risk relationships, plus sanctions and PEP screening.
- 3
Account creation
Once verification is complete and the relationship is approved, your account manager creates the business account and issues portal credentials to the named users you identify. Access is set up with role-based permissions and two-factor authentication, so from the first login every user has the access level their role requires.
- 4
Receiving account allocation
Your account manager allocates a dedicated USD receiving account to your business and it appears in the client portal with the details your payer needs. The account number is what identifies your funds, so a wire sent to it is yours and does not sit in a general pool.
- 5
First funding
You instruct a USD bank wire to the allocated account. It typically clears in one to three business days, depending on your sending bank and the correspondent route, and the credit appears on your Transactions page once the wire has settled.
An account is only activated once verification has been completed and the relationship approved. Account opening terms are confirmed in writing during onboarding, and no charge is applied without your agreement.
An enquiry is answered within one business day on business days. Reviewing a completed onboarding file takes longer, because verification involves document checks and may raise questions that only your business can answer. If you have a deadline, say so in the first message rather than in the last.
Documents requested during onboarding are requested by the compliance team, and the request explains what is needed and why. Documents are reviewed by the team that asks for them, and never collected through an unsolicited link or by email from an address you were not given on this page.
What to include in your first message
You do not need any of this to make contact. But an enquiry that already answers the questions below gets a substantive reply instead of a list of questions back, and it shortens the onboarding stages that follow.
We ask for all six because the account cannot be opened without them at some point. Documented upfront, they speed up verification; discovered later, they extend it.
Email works for all of it. Attachments are reviewed by the compliance team, and documents are never requested through an unsolicited link.
Legal entity name and jurisdiction
The registered name of the company and the jurisdiction it is incorporated in.
Nature of your business
What you do, and what the account will actually be used for. If the account is for a group, say which entity will hold it.
Expected funding currency and volumes
The currency you will fund in, your typical transaction size, and how many transactions per month you expect.
Why you need this combination
Why you need a USD receiving account and why you want settlement in USDT rather than to a bank account.
Timeline
When you need the account active, and whether anything is time-critical.
Compliance context
Ownership structure, any regulated status, and the counterparties you expect to transact with. More context early means fewer follow-up questions later.
Send an enquiry
Tell us who you are, what the account is for, and which team should read it.
How to actually send it
Account enquiries and operational questions are handled over email so that requests, replies and approvals all stay on the record. Send your message to the address for the team you need:
New business and existing clients
support@mikupay.comCompliance and documentation
compliance@mikupay.comExisting clients can also message their account manager from the client portal, where the thread is attached to the account.
Response expectation
We reply within one business day on business days. Enquiries received outside business days are answered on the next business day. Requests that require document review, a bank trace or an on-chain investigation take longer, and we tell you when that is the case.
What we will not ask for
We do not request passwords, one-time codes or wallet seed phrases, at any stage, by any channel. Verification documents are requested by the compliance team and reviewed by it.
Corporate information
Who you are contracting with, and where the formal particulars are recorded.
Registered particulars
The values below are the ones that apply to your account. Where a particular depends on your relationship, it is stated in the service agreement rather than summarised here.
- Registered name
- Mikupay
- Regulatory status
- Authorised to provide the services described in your service agreement.
- Registration particulars
- Registration particulars are stated in your service agreement and are available from your account manager.
Documentation for counterparties
Supporting documentation is available to counterparties on request. If your compliance, legal or finance team needs confirmation of who we are and what we are authorised to do, ask through the compliance address and we will provide it.
The legal terms that govern a business account are published in full, so you can review them before making contact.
Before you contact us
Most operational questions are already answered in writing, with more detail than a reply could carry.
The help centre explains each step in order: how an account is opened, how funding and payouts work, and what the verification process requires. The pricing page lists every charge that can apply to a business account, including the withdrawal minimum and the network fee passed through at cost.
Already a client?
The client portal carries the operational detail that email cannot: your allocated receiving account, every ledger entry behind your balance, each fee posted separately, card applications and their status, and your active sessions. If you have not used it before, your account manager can walk through it with you.
Go to the client portalHow we handle what you send
Enquiries and documents are handled under our AML programme, which includes client due diligence, enhanced due diligence for higher-risk relationships, ongoing transaction monitoring and sanctions and PEP screening. Every operational action taken on an account is written to an audit log.
Start with a conversation
There is no application form to fill in before you speak to us. Send an enquiry describing your business and what you need, and an account manager will tell you plainly whether the platform fits — and what the next stage would involve if it does.
Mikupay serves business entities only. Accounts are opened on an invitation basis and activated after verification.
